		<description>I dropped off my laptop at radio shack for repairs on June 24th. I was told that I would have it back by July 8th at the latest. When I called the repair center to check on the status of my repair, they said that they had not received it. Come to find out the &quot;brilliant&quot; store manager T.J. Grizzel neglected to call UPS and have the laptop picked up to be sent. It had been sitting on their floor at the store for nearly two weeks. 		<description>Radio Shacks employees are not trained very well, I was just hired in to a store that a manager was leaving and gave them a months notice. I watched a few training videos and thats about it. After 2 weeks I was left on the floor by myself with knowing nothing (not even the register). Because I didnt know how to make a return, how to sell a phone or activate it. people were bitching at me left and right. Its not my fault I show up on time,and I&#039;am a good worker. after 2 weeks the old manager just decided that, that day was gonna be his last and poof he was gone. Since then I have learned about RS return policy. We sell you the RSSP with your merchandise and yes you pay for it. From what I understand about it that is not described by the sales associate when you are there is, they tell you if anything goes wrong with it in 1 year you get a free replacement of the same prouct ( which is a lie ) everyone that has brought stuff in with the RSSP expects that they get a return. FACT:  you have 30 days with your reciept to return it to the store. everything is good No questions asked. the other 335 days is covered by radio shack but you have to call the number on the front of the service plan and talk to someone (probably in bangladesh) they will send you a shipping label you box it up and once fedex picks up the package you are issued a gift card, to spend the way you want, at any radio shack store. Now I know the associate dosent tell you that when u buy the service plan and that is wrong. Inside the RSSP pamphlet it states how this process works. Associates falt for not telling you, your fault for not reading after you buy it. I make sure I personally tell every coustomer about the process,most decline. I am the lowest person to sell the RSSP but I&#039;m not lying to my coustomers and personally I dont care if they dont buy one. I&#039;m going on 2 months now we got a new manager and sofar everything is going way better than it was. everyday I&#039;m still learning I would rate working for Rafio Shack on a scale from 1-10 a ( 5 ) It&#039;s not RS fault that the old mgr wasnt doing his job. And to the guy that did post #3 I know a lot about everything electronics,cars,forklifts,assembly,packaging,mgmt,workforce,family, some of us are not that bad. If you are a truck driver then what your saying is you know how to drive read signs and get from point a to point b. I&#039;m Just a new guy learning on how to be the best that I can be. RS sells over 10,000 products in each store, it does take time to learn the stuff so if you get mad at one of us, maybe you not explaing yourself correctly ( I need this thing that goes in one of these things) like most people that come into Radio Shack.</description>

		<description>I JUST BROUGHT BACK A PAIR OF HEADPHONES FOR WHICH I BOUGHT A REPLACEMENT WARRANTY TWO MONTHS AGO. THEY STARTED SCREWING UP A WEEK OR SO AGO. I TOOK THEM BACK TO THE STORE FROM WHICH I BOUGHT THEM BUT THEY DID NOT HAVE A REPLACEMENT THERE. THEY CALLED THE STORE DOWN THE STREET, THEY HAD SOME IN STOCK SO I HAD TO GO THERE!!! MORE TIME WASTED!! SHOULDN&#039;T HAVE SURPRISED ME, BUT IT DID. WENT TO STORE #2, AFTER WAITING FOR 5 MINUTES FOR THE MANAGER TO FINISH TALKING TO A FOREIGNER ABOUT SOMETHING THE GUY DIDN&#039;T KNOW MUCH ABOUT (THE CUSTOMER),GOT A RUNAROUND FROM MANAGER. WANTED TO KNOW THE SAME SHIT I HAD JUST TOLD THE DUDE AT THE ORIGINAL STORE EVEN THOUGH DUDE #1 TOLD HIM OVER THE PHONE WHAT THE DEAL WAS. THEN HE WANTED TO KNOW IF I HAD CALLED IN THE REPLACEMENT INFO! OF COURSE I HAD NOT AND I TOLD HIM SO AND I DON&#039;T KNOW WHAT THE OTHER GUY HAD DONE. SO HE TOOK MY WARRANTY PAPERWORK, MADE A PHONE CALL AND TALKED TO SOMEBODY. FIVE MINUTES LATER, AFTER NOT SAYING ANYTHING, I ASKED WHAT WAS GOING ON. HE SAID HE WAS &#039;WAITING FOR THE REPLACEMENT INFORMATION&#039;. (WHATEVER THAT MEANT!) MEANWHILE I WAS STARTING TO LOSE MY PATIENCE WITH THESE PEOPLE. 

 SO I HEAR HIM ASK THE PERSON IF THEY COULD DO AN IN STORE EXCHANGE! WTF!!!!??? THAT&#039;S WHAT THE REPLACEMENT WARRANTY WAS FOR IN THE FIRST PLACE!! I WAS EXPECTING TO BE IN AND OUT IN 5 MINUTES WITH MY NEW HEADPHONES!! DIDN&#039;T HAPPEN!! SO HE HANGS UP AND TELLS ME THEY WILL BE MAILING ME A &#039;GIFT CARD&#039; FOR MY PURCHASE PRICE THAT I CAN USE TO PURCHASE WHATEVER I WANT IN THE STORE!!! WTF AGAIN!!!!! WHAT KIND OF SHIT IS THIS!? I BOUGHT THE DAMN REPLACEMENT WARRANTY IN ORDER TO &#039;REPLACE&#039; THE DEFECTIVE MERCHANDISE FOR THE SAME NEW ITEM IN THE STORE!!!! 		<description>My husband and I went to Radio Shack to buy a Magic Jack. For the first time ever we bought a warranty because the sales person who was the manager  said that if something went wrong they would swap it out. Needless to say we have a faulty magic jack and we went back to the store last night, dealt with the same manager- salesperson and he called the company and they wouldn&#039;t let him swap it out. They are going to send us a label, then we have to send it to them, and then they will send us a gift card. All the while we have No PHONE!! I will Never by a warranty again and I will Never Ever shop at Radio Shack Again.</description>
